Targe of the Blooded is a Unique Shield in Skyrim. Shields allow players to block effectively as well as provide additional armor to reduce physical damage taken further. Shields are supported by the Block skill and with the right perks, shields are able to block not only direct melee attacks, but also incoming arrows, power attacks, and even reduce fire, frost, and shock damage. Heavy Shields are also supported by the heavy armor skill.
How to get Targe of the Blooded in Skyrim
Can be found on a hostile Redguard named Umana in the Dwemer Ruin of Alftand

When bashing, does 3 points of bleeding damage for 5 seconds
Skyrim Targe of the Blooded Upgrades and Enchantment
Does not benefit from any Smithing perk
Can be upgraded with the Arcane Blacksmith and Steel Ingot
