Volendrung is one of the Daedric Artifacts in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Daedric Artifacts are special, powerful items created by the Daedric Princes and given to mortals in exchange for their services or for completing favors. Each artifact is attributed to a specific Prince and is imbued with their power, providing unique combat and magical benefits to their users. Daedric Artifacts fall under three categories: Weapons, Apparel and Other Items. In order to obtain these artifacts, the Dragonborn must undertake special Daedric Quests and gain the favor of the associated Daedric Prince.

Volendrung is a Daedric Artifact attributed to Daedric Prince Malacath.

It is a Two-Handed weapon of the Warhammer class.

Volendrung is of Dwemer origin. It is a massive sledgehammer with its head stylized with a pattern that resembles a dragon's scales. The center of the head is adorned with a jewel that glows a bright orange.

Volendrung is one of the fastest weapons among Warhammers, with a swing speed second only to The Longhammer.

Volendrung has the following special effect(s):

"Absorb 50 points of Stamina"

• Volendrung has a straightforward enchantment, allowing you to absorb 50 points of Stamina from your opponents with every hit.
• Its weapon class benefits greatly from this enchantment as Power attacks with Two-Handed weapons typically drain a lot of Stamina.

Volendrung can be obtained as follows:

Volendrung can be tempered with an Ebony Ingot and the Arcane Blacksmith perk.

Note that it is not classified as an Ebony Weapon and therefore does not benefit from any Smithing perks. The weapon cannot be improved past Flawless quality without boosting your Smithing skill past 100.

• Volendrung is the only Daedric Artifact which you do not need to physically possess in order for it to count towards your collection for the Oblivion Walker achievement, as the count is incremented by the mere completion of the associated quest.
