Quicksilver Mine in Dawnstar, on the ground level straight in the back. Look in crate on the left from entrance, near two quicksilver ore veins. Underwater in Purewater Run, inside a Dwarven chest, guarded by two slaughterfish.
Heavy Armor Forging	East Empire Company Warehouse, near the entrance, take the path through the shelves to reach a shelf with a stack of iron ingots on it, the book is to the right of these ingots. Outside Gloombound Mine, in the hut near the entrance. Pinepeak Cavern, on the ground next to the chest in the middle of the cavern. Whistling Mine, atop a barrel in the first room.
Light Armor Forging	Cracked Tusk Keep, by the smithing forge on a table. Embershard Mine, on the lower level of the larger area to the west on a table. Lod's House in Falkreath, in the basement on top of a barrel in the corner. Silent Moons Camp, on the workbench near the Lunar Forge. Reachwind Burial Mound
The Armorer's Challenge	Bilegulch Mine, at the entrance to the last room, on a table. Mor Khazgur, near the blacksmith's forge. Skyforge in Whiterun, just to the right of the forge. The Scorched Hammer in Riften, in between the dresser and the safe. Tower of Mzark, in the first room.
The Last Scabbard of Akrash	Gallows Rock, on a table near the workbench and anvil. Fort Sungard Muster, on a table in the armory. South southeast of Black-Briar Lodge, from the lodge, head east up a small snowy path between the rocks, to the right at the top of the rocky slope, under a hide shield.
