The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition in Skyrim was released on October 28, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Special Edition includes all 3 Downloadable Content expansion packs; Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn. The Special Edition also comes with improved graphics support letting players fully immerse themselves in the stunning visuals the world of Tamriel has to offer. Most importantly the Special Edition brings mod support to the console versions of the game adding greatly to the user experience through customizations options that mods bring along with quality of life support and community led bug fixes. There are no new content additions included in the Special edition.

Skyrim Special Edition Features

• Remastered Graphics: The special edition adds in new effects and graphic settings such as volumetric god rays, screen space reflections and more. The Remastereed graphics update also gave rise to new and improved graphic mods that enhance the graphics even further.

• Console Mod Support: The special edition provides Mod support to console versions of Skyrim. By browsing through the PlayStation store or Xbox marketplace players can search for and find Mods that they can download and use for their games.
