Imperial is a Race in Skyrim. One of the ten playable Races in Skyrim, the Imperials are some of the most well-educated, wealthy and well-spoken of the races in Tamriel. They are also known for their discipline and training of armies, and their respect for the law. They are especially good as close combat combatants with their initial skill bonuses.

Skyrim Imperial Combat Information
Imperials are a balanced race for players to make a mage type or a warrior type character. Their starting skill bonuses are well split between Warrior Skills and Magic Skills with bonuses to Destruction and Restoration getting players started in crucial caster skills. The Warrior skills give an early boost to any One-handed builds, builds with Shields and builds with Heavy Armor.
The Imperial's Power Voice of the Emperor can help players calm down a situation and take them out of combat when faced with a tough situation. This is especially useful in towns and cities when simply killing your way out of a bad situation may not be the preferred choice.
While greatly overlooked, their Imperial Luck ability helps them make money that can be beneficial to the early parts of the game.
