Soul Tear is a Dragon Shout in Skyrim. Dragon Shouts are phrases of dragon language, consisting of three separate words of power unleashing powerful and varied effects when activated. Players have to find words of power and unlock the dragon shouts using the souls of dragons. They do not require the use of Magicka or Stamina to activate and have a shared cooldown with other shouts. Players can hold to charge up and release more powerful versions of the Shout when more words are unlocked.

Skyrim Soul Tear Information

Your Thu'um cuts through flesh and shatters soul, commanding the will of the fallen.

Only affects the first target it hits. At 3 words the shout applies great effects to the enemies.

The words of power translate to Essence, Tear, Zombie.

Skyrim Soul Tear Effect

1 or 2 words: the Shout will only push items a slight distance.

3 words: Soul trap for 2 seconds, drain 300 health points and reanimate target upon death for 60 seconds
