Each artifact is attributed to a specific Prince and is imbued with their power, providing unique combat and magical benefits to their users. In order to obtain these artifacts, the Dragonborn must undertake special Daedric Quests and gain the favor of the associated Daedric Prince.

How to obtain the Savior's Hide Daedric Artifact in Skyrim

Savior's Hide can be obtained as follows:

  • Complete the quest "Ill Met by Moonlight" which is available in Falkreath after hearing rumors of the murder of a little girl, or by speaking to the girl's parents holding a funeral at the graveyard.
  • Note that the Savior's Hide is one of two Daedric Artifacts that can be obtained from the same quest, with the other being the Ring of Hircine.
  • The ring is acquired by sparing Sinding, the werewolf central to the quest and then having Hircine purify the cursed variant of the ring. The Savior's Hide is acquired by killing Sinding and skinning him. However, both can be acquired at once by first going through with the Ring of Hircine path; Spare Sinding, Cleanse the Ring, Complete the Quest. Afterwards, return to the cave and kill Sinding to obtain the Savior's Hide cuirass. Note that you cannot acquire the ring if you choose to kill Sinding first. This is an important consideration when going for the Oblivion Walker achievement.
