Oghma Infinium is one of the Daedric Artifacts in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Daedric Artifacts are special, powerful items created by the Daedric Princes and given to mortals in exchange for their services or for completing favors. Each artifact is attributed to a specific Prince and is imbued with their power, providing unique combat and magical benefits to their users. Daedric Artifacts fall under three categories: Weapons, Apparel and Other Items. In order to obtain these artifacts, the Dragonborn must undertake special Daedric Quests and gain the favor of the associated Daedric Prince.

The Oghma Infinium is a single-use item that can be read. Upon doing so, the reader is offered a choice between three Paths: The Path of Might (Combat), Path of Shadow (Stealth) or the Path of Magic. Upon choosing, the reader will be granted 5 skill levels each to 6 skills within their chosen path:
- Might: Heavy Armor, One-Handed, Smithing, Two-Handed, Archery, Block
- Shadow: Light Armor, Speech, Pickpocket, Alchemy, Sneak, Lockpicking
- Magic: Destruction, Restoration, Conjuration, Illusion, Alteration, Enchanting
How to obtain the Oghma Infinium Daedric Artifact in Skyrim
Oghma Infinium can be obtained as follows:
- Complete the quest "Discerning the Transmundane". This quest is available from Septimus Signus, north of the College of Winterhold. It requires that the Dragonborn be Level 15 or higher.
